I still have some very nice OM lenses and two film cameras. This adapter fits my OM-5 and my OM lenses perfectly. I just have to change my camera exposure setting from shutter priority to aperture priority. The only drawback, and it is minor, is that when I stop down with an OM lens the aperture closes so the viewfinder darkens. This is the only way the adapter can work since there is no mechanical or electrical connection through the adapter. But my 100mm f2.8 OM lens becomes a 200mm f2.8 lens on my OM-5. Not bad for less that $30.
The adapter replaced one from another manufacturer that actually damaged my camera mount. I was skeptical about even trying another inexpensive adapter but as the difference between this one and the 'best' one was almost $100 I figured I'd try it. The FotodioX adapter worked great. I have used it with a number of vintage lenses and with no concerns at all and it has preformed perfectly. Don't hesitate to buy this adapter but be very skeptical of other cheaper ones.
