Impressively compact, the AF 24mm f/2.8 FE from Rokinon is a slim wide-angle prime designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Its wide field of view is ideal for landscape and street photography, among other general applications, and the lightweight design is well-suited to its use as a travel or everyday lens. The optical design incorporates a trio of aspherical elements and a pair of high refractive index elements to suppress spherical aberrations in order to achieve a high degree of sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to control flare and ghosting for increased contrast when working in strong lighting conditions. The lens's autofocus motor works in conjunction with Sony cameras' AF systems for quick and precise focusing performance, and manual focus override is also available for more refined control.

Rokinon 24mm f/2.8 AF Reviews
Great Value - Solid Performer
I am very happy with this lens. It is compact, light, and a good optical performer. I have experienced occasional hunting for focus when the subject is close to , but not exceeding, the near focus distance . I would rate it as 9 out of 10.

Nice lens for wide shots
I have been using it for landscape and group shots on the sony 6000 series and 7.
Excellent
This is a good lens for full frame and excellent for APSC cameras. I have been using it as a 36mm equivalent on a NEX-6 with sharp and saturated results. Very happy with this purchase.
Nice walk-a-around lens ..
This is my 4th Rokinon lens . I use it on a Sony a6000. Even with a 1.5 crop factor it's still plenty wide enough for just about everything. I don't use it for video , but for photography it focuses fast and silent. The images overall are on par with the 16-50 kit lens while using a sweet spot of f4 - f8 aperture. It works really well on all close up shots , flowers, etc. even it bright light . Speaking of light it is a must for this lens to get clear images . On my copy I add just a little tweak of contrast and sharpness to reach maximum clarity. It's light and fun to use. The lens hood doesn't click on , but stays on .. it also has a very nice case . . If your on a budget and want a point and shoot walk around lens this is it .
Solid
Solid video lens for the money
Great image, but autofocus problems
Most times autofocus is OK, but once in awhile it just flakes out and goes completely soft even while tracking faces and objects in full sun. Heat might have been a factor. Weather was summer warm but not super hot or humid. Will keep trying it indoors, but outdoors and must-have shoots will probably have to use a different lens on my gimbal.
Great Value!
This lens is a great lens I am thoroughly enjoying it and it was relatively inexpensive.
