It depends on the 50mm f/1.8. The G series lenses will work but you won't have any control over the aperture. If you use the 50mm f/1.8 that's a D series lens (the one that's pictured) it's a 52mm not a 58mm filter thread. So you'd need this size: https://bhpho.to/2WuzOVJ
