No. None of the Leica flashes are compatible with the V-Lux. You will need to explore flashes made from Panasonic or versions of Metz flashes that are concurrently compatible with Panasonic/Olympus/Leica cameras.

What's the difference between SF 60 and 40?

What's the difference between SF 60 and 40?
Asked by: Sanjay
The SF 60 is more powerful and can be used remotely with the SF-C1 remote. It also has slow sync capabilities. The guide numbers for both are as follows. SF 40 131.23' / 40 m at ISO 100 (105 mm Position)/ SF 60 196.85' / 60 m at ISO 100 (200 mm Position). SF 60 exposure compensation EV steps is in thirds vs halves for the SF 40. Also, you can use an external battery pack with the SF 60. Weight wise, the SF 60 is a around 3 oz heavier than the SF 40. The SF 40 is a great all around flash for most instances that you would need a flash for. If you would like to have more power when needed, longer battery life, remote capabilities etc., then go with the SF 60.
