Tilta Gravity Overview

Use the Tiltamax Gravity 3-Axis Gimbal System gimbal from Tilta to stabilize a DSLR or cine-style digital camera weighing up to 33 lb. The Gravity is easily configured for handheld, jib, vehicle mount, and additional uses. The included Mimic Handlebar system with a Gold mount battery plate enables you to remotely operate the gimbal by transmitting your movements to the gimbal.

Leadscrews and an auto-calibration system help to quickly fine-tune the gimbal balance, saving setup time. The Gravity's robust 33 lb payload capacity suits it for use with cameras ranging from tricked-out DSLRs to cinema cameras like the ARRI ALEXA Mini, Canon C300/200 Mk II, RED DSMC2s, Sony F55 or FS7m, and more. Multiple power outputs are built into the Gravity, providing simultaneous power to accessories such as wireless FIZ systems, monitors, and video transmitters.

Wirelessly control the Gravity via the included Mimic system or the separately available 1A Tools Alpha Wheels, the Futaba Thumb Joystick controller, or other system. Use the Mimic system with a separately available wireless video transmitter and monitor to view your movements.

Im thinking about this gimbal for dual purposes. As a head for my jib and handheld. Does the mimic system come with this option ?

You can use this adapter piece to hang it from the jib. <a href= http://tilta.com/shop/gravity-adapter-mount/ target= _blank >tilta.com/shop/gravity-adapter-mount/</a>

question

How well does it perform with RED Weapon cameras? What lenses work? Rode?
Asked by: Anonymous
The manufacturer claims it works with RED EPIC, Sony F55, Sony FS7, ARRI Mini, and similar cameras. From how it looks and it's rating of 33lbs, we see no issue of it working with any RED camera and small to medium lenses. Whether or not you can get an operator to hold 33lbs out in front for more than one take is another issue.
