CAME-TV TP-609 Overview

The 609B Carbon Fiber Video Tripod with Fluid Head from CAME-TV is a lightweight camera support that can hold up to a 33 lb load. The reinforced three-section legs extend the tripod's working height to a maximum of 67" and it folds down to 33".

The head offers 360° locking pan rotation, a padded pan/tilt handle, a sliding quick release plate, an easy-to-read bubble level, and a center-column knob that can fine-tune your tripod head's position. The center column is also removable and can be used for handheld, pistol-grip style shots. The feet are rubber and each feature dual-spikes for traction on rough terrain, and an adjustable bottom spreader is included. A padded carry bag is included to store and transport your tripod.

Handles EVERYTHING

I put this tripod to the test. It's currently sitting on top of a 4-floor office building, holding a time-lapse camera. While being held in place by sandbags, it has been through some high winds and foul weather and it's holding strong. It is also a very smooth head. Pans and tilts like a dream. It's also very light. I carried it up a ladder to get on the roof and it wasn't too much of a challenge. Highly recommend this camera.

Good Price Point, but knobs and levers are bad

This tripod checks a lot of boxes when reading the specs online, but when you get it in person and use it, then you see that the knobs and levers are the poorest of all plastics. The head and it's tightening knob is really poor quality plastic and probably wouldn't hold less than advertised weight past a couple shoots. I should've just spent more money and bought a known brand.
