Characterized by its wide tonal range and neutral, flexible image tone, Adox MCC 112 is a variable contrast fiber-based paper for producing prints or enlargements from black & white negative film. Using standard contrast filters, this paper's contrast can be varied within six full grades to suit printing different negative densities. Its complex chlorobromide emulsion and baryta layer help to realize a broad dynamic range, high Dmax, and fine detail, and are also receptive to different developer types for adjusting the image tone from warm to cool. The paper also responds well to different toning solutions for adjusting image color or increasing archivability, and two supercoats have been added to the top layer to guard against friction fogging, scratching, and other physical damage.
