Does it come in a larger size? Will it put out enough light as a light source to scan 4x5 transparence on a scanner?

This unit does not come in a larger size, however we have other brands that are larger. Click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Lightboxes-Light-Tables/ci/1558/N/4077634482 You cannot use this with a scanner.

Are there special cleaning instructions for this ...

Are there special cleaning instructions for this light pad? The older model could only be cleaned with screen cleaner made for LED displays otherwise it would become discolored, but this model did not come with any instructions saying that and the surface appears to be a different material.

While there are no special cleaning instructions published for this Light Pad, you can use a cleaning fluid along with a soft microfiber towel like the Purosol LCD/Plasma Cleaning Small Kit, BH #PUPCSK. The mfr does not list CRI in their specs, they only list 5600K.
