Designed to deliver a performance similar to smaller refractor telescopes, the Levenhuk 20x80 Bruno PLUS Astronomy Binocular is an ideal optic for lunar or planetary viewing, comet hunting, tracking the ISS and satellites across the sky, or spotting iridium flares—all with the advantage of viewing with both eyes open. The binocular is also perfect for terrestrial use across expansive distances.

The large over-sized lenses draw in tremendous amounts of light and, combined with the 20x power, produce a comfortable exit pupil that will cover most pupils, even in the dark on moonless nights. The larger objectives also help to compensate for the dimming that often happens when looking at smaller subjects at long range. Anti-reflection fully coated optics, a wide field of view, and a traditional Porro prism optical path all work together to produce an immersive and comfortable observational experience, featuring bright and clear high-contrast views with accurate color rendition and a rich depth of field. The wide field of view helps to mitigate the appearance of visible hand shake that is common with large and high-power optics, for clearer views.

Due to the large objectives and long optical tubes, the Bruno PLUS weighs in at almost  6 pounds, so the binocular is outfitted with a center stabilizer bar. The bar keeps the optical tubes parallel to ensure proper optical alignment and has a 1/4"-20 mount for direct attachment to telescope mount heads and photo/video/field tripod heads. The tripod mount can be moved along the bar's length to properly balance the weight and make movement smoother with less vibration. Its optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to a waterproof IPX6 rating and resistant to internal fogging. The chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy and wrapped in a protective slip-resistant rubber armor. Three-position twist-up click-stop rubber eyecups enable precise eye relief settings even for those who wear corrective eyewear or sunglasses.
