No, do not purchase these Samsung FIT usb drives. They are SLOW for a 3.1 spec drive. Purchase SanDisk 3.0 usb spec drive. Much faster write speed than the Samsung FIT. Your PC running XP, does it have usb 3.0 superspeed usb ports? If not, than the best you will see is usb 2.0 speed, not usb 3.0 speeds no matter what usb drive you plug in. Steven Sutherland

Anyone know the Write speed of this 256GB Samsung USB3.1 FIT Plus Flash Drive in Windows 11 or 10? Could you test it with CrystalDiskMark 8.0.4 or newer please?

The Samsung 256GB FIT Plus USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Flash Drive has a sustained read of roughly 398.21mb/s and write 64.34 mb/s.

Samsung does not state the write speed, but does state the write speeds are lower than the read speeds on the Samsung 512GB FIT Plus USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Flash Drive (BH #SAMUF512ABAM).
