The Williams Sound IR SY6 is a SoundPlus Series medium-area wireless infrared system designed to deliver reliable audio pickup and monitoring for up two people in conferences, classrooms, and courtrooms. It includes the IR T2 infrared transmitter and its power supply, two WIR RX22-4 four-channel bodypack IR receivers, one MIC 049 omnidirectional conference microphone, two EAR 022 mono earphones, two 18" induction neckloops, four AA batteries, a wall/ceiling mount, an ADA wall plaque, a tabletop tripod, a 12' 3.5mm extension cable, and a customizable hardshell carrying case. With a coverage area of up to 18,000 square feet and selectable transmission frequencies, it provides a blend of easy setup and robust power.
Audio inputs to the transmitter include two Euroblock line inputs and a 3.5mm microphone input. An additional Euroblock is provided for control system integration. Back-panel green and yellow LEDs indicate power status and signal presence. A power-saving mode automatically shuts off the carrier after 12 minutes without audio. Connect the supplied hang-on-ear earphones or neckloops to the bodypack IR receivers, which feature low-battery indicators, channel selectors, and on/off/volume controls. Use the headphones for standard on-ear monitoring or utilize the neckloops for integration of hearing aids or cochlear implants with T-coil capabilities. The 12' 3.5mm extension cable allows greater distances between the included omnidirectional microphone and the IR T2 transmitter. The Williams Sound NKL 001 is an induction neckloop designed to magnetically couple an audio signal to a telephone coil-equipped (T-Switch) hearing aid. The neckloop has a standard 1/8" mini plug that can be connected to any audio device that has an 8-16 Ohm 1/8" output, such as a beltpack receiver, TV, tape player, etc. The neckloop has a slider so you can adjust the tension, and the 18" cord provides a good amount of slack for use with body-worn devices.

The Williams Sound WCA 007 provides 12' of cable and two self-adhesive mic clips, allowing you to use the MIC 014 (available separately) as a lavalier.
