Teac TEAC W-1200 Double Cassette Deck (Black)
Key Features
  • 2 Heads with Dual & Parallel Recording
  • Multiple Record/Playback Modes
  • Dolby B NR Tapes Supported
  • Return-to-Zero Function
The TEAC W-1200 is a dual-cassette deck that supports recording and playback on each head. Additionally, a mic input allows you to amplify your voice over a recording that's being played back, or record your voice onto tape.

Both new and legacy tapes (the sort recorded with Dolby B NR) can be played over the W-1200. Also, an onboard pitch control lets you change the playback speed up to 12% in either direction. This is useful in many applications, such as transcribing recordings. Other features are on hand, such as return-to-zero functions for each head, one-touch tape dubbing, repeat play, and more.

The W-1200 sports a 1/4" mic input, a 1/4" headphones output, and RCA inputs and outputs in stereo pairs. You'll also note the built-in A/D converter and USB output. This allows you to record your tapes to digital at sample rates and resolutions up to 48 kHz / 16-bit.
