The off-white Speco Technologies G86TG 8" 70/25V Classic Grille In-Ceiling Speaker Kit includes two 10W RMS G86TG in-ceiling speakers, two STH8 back cans, and two TS8 speaker ceiling supports. Great for commercial applications, it provides contractors with a pair of durable speakers and all the necessary hardware required for mounting them in walls or ceilings.
The off-white Speco Technologies G86TG is an 86 Series 8" ceiling speaker offering wide-dispersion 120° conical coverage for background music and paging applications in offices, stores, waiting rooms, and more, whether used with constant-voltage or low-impedance systems.
Featuring an 8" coaxial driver, the G86TG is capable of 10W RMS power handling and a frequency range of 85 Hz to 20 kHz. The integrated 5W transformer allows operation at 25/70V, or 8 ohms (transformer bypassed).
The G86TG features a classic in-ceiling grille design and color-coded leads for simplified wiring. The Speco Technologies STH8 back can and TS8 ceiling support are available separately for optimal installation.
Our stackable top hat is heavy gauge steel contructed, which protects rear side of speakers from dirt, debris, or other disturbances. It can be used for a back box in ceilings and walls. It has an undercoating that eliminates any mechanical or acoustical resonance caused by vibration. It has rust preventative finish four combination knockouts. It includes 4 J-clips for screw mounting of baffles and perforated mounting straps for 8 inch speaker combinations.
