KanexPro EXT-NETAV Overview

The KanexPro EXT-NETAVTX NetworkAV over IP Encoder with PoE & RS-232 is part of a system for transmitting HDMI signals over Category cable. This is the encoder, which is an AV over IP encoder/transmitter that features one HDMI input, one HDMI output for local viewing, Phoenix connectors for audio input and output, debugging, and RS-232 control. The LAN (Ethernet) port supports PoE and sends the signal to a network switch or an optional receiver (not included). The encoder uses an advanced H.264 compression algorithm to convert the HDMI signal into an IP signal with up to 1.5ms latency.

With a transmitter/receiver pair (receiver available separately), you can transmit your signal up to 330', and as the receiver supports PoE, you only need one power supply to run the system. It is compatible with a standard 1G IP switch, and you can connect multiple receivers to a switch to feed multiple monitors from a single transmitter. You can control the encoder via RS-232 or the built-in GUI.

DTVGameControl
Incorporating DTVGameControl allows you to manage and control DirecTV, Dish Network, cable receivers, video tilers, and video walls. DTVGameControl features "Game Day" tabs to detail current sporting events for quick access to the latest game. Through DTVGameControl, televisions will automatically turn on each device at a scheduled time on the desired set channel.
Video Wall Function and Multi-View
Create a 3x3 video wall or multi-view by adding multiple decoders to your application that can all be controlled by a central web-based GUI.
Central Control
The EXT-NETAVTX offers one central control over web GUI to manage all your sources and displays. The controller is built-in to the transmitter, which will manage all your HDMI sources and display devices using Web GUI, mobile app or third-party control system.
