Designed for shooting in the studio with easy setup for work on the road, the Fotodiox Pro Studio Solutions EZ-Pro Strip Softbox with Bowens, Calumet, and Interfit Speed Ring is an ideal modifier for edge-lighting subjects to separate them from the background or for use as a hair light for up to 3 people. The softbox measures 9 x 36" and has removable inner and front diffusers that can be used together for the softest quality of light, or separately for contrast options. The silver reflective interior material maximizes output, while an optional 50° fabric grid narrows the beam spread for directional control and selective lighting.

The heat-resistant EZ-Pro Strip Softbox is vented for high-powered lamps or for use with continuous light sources. The included speed ring is rotatable for precise placement.

I need a strip soft box light for my overhead boom...

I had just purchased rectangle softboxs for my Speedtron floor light stands and their umbrella pop-up frames work great in attaching direct to the Speedtron flash heads. I also need a new strip soft box light for my overhead boom, but unfortunately, for this application, the Speedatron light head is separate from the plastic Speedtron adaptor, where the softbox by itself, needs to insert its 4 side bows into the Speedtron plastic adapter. But I could not find on B&H website, just the strip softbox without a light head adapter. I'll need to take some old softbox side bows I've saved, and cut them in length to fit into the plastic Speedtrom adapter. All the strip softboxes without adapters (just the side bows) cost 3-4 times as much as this one. B&H does sell side bow sets, but they do not tell us on the ordering page how long the bow rods are. This Strip Soft Box takes a different length rod from usual.

I bought two of these to supplement our equipment inventory for accent lights on athletes. A month later I got two sent but one is wrong size, see photo and neither unit will fit the photogenic lights even though I ordered the photogenic rings Three days later I am still emailing to get the RMA to send these back as I don't want to order two others and get stuck with these. Usually B&H is good about returns but something isn't right about this purchase/transaction. Ive been in industry 30 years so I am not a novice

Are the speedrings replaceable? I want to use the ...

Are the speedrings replaceable? I want to use the the Godox mount ring and if possible is this a 150 or 130mm size mount?

While the speedring included with the FotodioX Pro Studio Solutions EZ-Pro Strip Softbox (9 x 36") is built onto the softbox, the speedring inserts are interchangeable. That being said, most all Godox studio strobes use the Bowens S-mount speedring, which is one of the speedrings included with the purchase of this softbox. If you own a Godox studio strobe that uses a proprietary Godox speedring, we may not have an insert for your specific light fixture. The speedring insert is approximately 150mm in size.
