When using the GILLIS LONDON Trafalgar Leather Messenger Bag the side zippered opening can open to the inside main compartment. The main compartment features a removable bridge to facilitate the use of a tripod insert below the bridge. With the bridge in place that side zippered opening is dedicated to sliding a tripod in and out. if one were to remove that bridge, the side opening would open to the main compartment

I asked the manufacturer if the Manfrotto BeFree Live will fit, and if not, then which tripods are known to fit. They replied with the following information:
I am afraid the BeFree Live Model is too long for the tripod section which is 14.5” or 36.83cm long inside measurement. You could add another 1cm because the lid cover on the side curves outwards and allows a bit more space.
The models that could fit are as follows:
* Vanguard VEO 235AB Aluminium Tripod with TBH-50 Ball head - Folded height 38cm ( this is the most that can fit but will push against the lid and may jut out )
