This is a handy tool but if you care for a snug fit you won't be happy as it wiggles (and yes I tested it on 3 separate brands female V connectors- same wiggle on all), they should have made it more snug!!!!

With the SHAPE Gold Mount to V-Mount Regulated Battery Converter you would require a Vmount charger to use this adapter which would charge Gold mount batteries.

The SHAPE Gold Mount to V-Mount Regulated Battery Converter can intake power via it's D-tap port, which means you could charge your Gold Mount battery using a D-tap charger when your battery is connected to the battery converter plate.

A Zephyr Steadicam can use the SHAPE Gold Mount to V-Mount Regulated Battery Converter, but please watch for weight limits and balance as each camera/setup is different.
