SHAPE FULL PLAY 14.8V Overview

The SHAPE J-Box Camera Power & Charger Kit with 98Wh Battery for the Panasonic EVA1 or Sony FS7, FS7M2, FS5, and FS5M2 cinema cameras provides a power distribution box that mounts on 15mm rods using the included 15mm LWS rod clamps. The J-Box incorporates a 16.8V D-Tap plus 5/8/12V and 5V USB power outputs. The plate supports powering from either a V-mount battery or the included AC power adapter, which can be used to power the plate by itself or to charge a battery on the plate.

The included 98Wh lithium-ion battery has a built-in 4-LED battery gauge and supports a total draw of up to 12A continuously without damage. The battery also features intelligent control and protection circuitry to help keep it in tip-top shape.

Recently purchased the SHAPE Full Play V-Mount Battery Kit with Portable D-Tap Charger to power my 35mm motion picture camera (Konvas 2M with a 17EP-16APK crystal-sync motor). The battery works PERFECTLY!! It's always great when you can. pair old tech (the Konvas) with new tech (the SHAPE Full Play V-Mount Battery Kit with Portable D-Tap Charger)!!! BRAVO!!

Perfect compact size for the RED Komodo. It doesn't obstruct any of the ports or needlessly extends outs or makes the camera profile bulky.

When a battery is attached, can this provide power to the EVA1 body, and the Atmos Shogun Inferno at the same time?

If you need to power an additional accessory like the Atomos Inferno, you can easily find an appropriate cable with a D-tap connector to power the monitor which you can plug into the D-tap connector on our battery. Can these batteries be charged with Anton Bauer LP2 chargers? Or other Anton Bauer Gold Mount chargers?

The SHAPE Full Play Gold Mount Battery could have issues charging with an Anton/Bauer charger as this battery does not feature the communication chip Anton/Bauer uses for many of their batteries and chargers.

other answers here are incorrect. Li-ion batteries from 100-160Wh MUST be in carry-on baggage and you may carry up to two of them. from the TSA website: "Spare (uninstalled) lithium ion and lithium metal batteries, including power banks and cell phone battery charging cases, must be carried in carry-on baggage only. With airline approval, passengers may also carry up to two spare larger lithium ion batteries (101–160 Wh) or lithium metal batteries (2-8 grams). This size covers the larger after-market extended-life laptop computer batteries and some larger batteries used in professional audio/visual equipment. There is a limit of two spare batteries per person for the larger lithium ion batteries described above (101–160 watt hours per battery. For more information, see the FAA regulations on batteries." https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/lithium-batteries-more-100-watt-hours

Will these work with Red DSMC2, like the Red Gemini and transfer battery % to the camera?

This may power a RED Camera with a V-Mount battery plate, but it does not have the needed chip for the camera to read battery info. The IndiPRO Tools Micro-Series 150Wh/14.8V/9400mAh V-Mount Li-Ion Battery (Red Compatible), B&H # INRDM150S, is a great option that will work. https://bhpho.to/2UAJJme
