These batteries died even after storing them and charging them correctly. This is a huge disappointment because they are so expensive. They should last more than 1-2 years.
Still using all 4 batteries without issues for almost 3 year

I bought 4 batteries in march 2023 and they're all in great condition and I'm still impressed how long one charge lasts on a long shoot. I saw so many bad reviews about them dying after storage so I was nervous after realizing that I'd left them unused for up to 3 months unintentionally a few times without checking the charge, but they've always worked without issues even after months without using them.

Anyone know how to activate the LED display on top? No button on the 400 version.
The elongated shape next to the four round LEDs is actually an unmarked button that is not in the User Manual. Press it with your fingernail and the LEDs turn on.

Can anyone tell me how to keep these batteries from dying completely? I have had 3 die for no apparent reason!
The Godox Li-Ion Battery for AD400Pro Flash Head needs to be periodically monitored to ensure that they are never allowed to completely drain to zero charge. Aside from this practice, there is nothing else that needs to be done in terms of battery maintenance. This practice will not help with defective batteries.
