The 4 x BNC SDI Inputs & 4 x SFP Outputs 3G-SDI Mini Switcher with Button Panel from Matrix Switch receives signals in SMPTE standard SDI coaxial video format and converts them to Fiber format. The switcher has four BNC SDI inputs that can be switched to multiple outputs without restriction and four SFP outputs that can be individually muted. The MSA-compatible SFP slots support separately available fiber optic and HDMI SFP receiver modules as well as compatible third-party modules. The switcher provides re-clocking for standard 3G/HD/SD-SDI rates with automatic bypass for non-standard rates between 20 Mb/s and 3 Gb/s. It passes SDI-embedded audio as well as ancillary data. This small router offers flexible and user friendly control, including a built-in web page and simple yet powerful text-based control protocol, which can be sent via TCP/IP or an RS-232 serial port.
