An accessory that ships with the flash, the Bounce Card for A1 Flash from Profoto is a light shaper that quickly mounts to the A1's magnetic mount head. Usually employed with the flash head tilted upward about 45 degrees, the Bounce Card kicks some of the light forward to widen the beam coverage and soften the A1's quality of light, while maintaining much of the flash's power.
Poor design, cheaply made. WAY too expensive for what it is. It constantly falls off the magnetic clip, so I had to gaffer tape mine to keep it on for shooting. It's made of cheap thin plastic and tears easily. Basically junk.
I rarely write reviews because I’m generally fairly happy with products even if improvements could be made. This productive is simply unusable, Profoto should be so ashamed to have this out on the market, it makes their flashes and brand look cheap and unreliable because the magnets is CONSTANTLY FALLING OFF. The magnet is simply not strong enough and falls off the slightest touch or the bounce card will touch something and falls out of the holder which has no lock device to keep it in place. Please make a new design for this product, this is shameful.
