Yes. Not to do it often but if by mistake you spray it on a mic without a cloth it won't hurt the mic if you spray it from a distance.

So per the MSDS sheet this stuff contains 60-100% of water. 1-5% of Isopropyl alcohol and 0.1% of Benzalkonium Chloride, Fragrance and colorant. How can this be killing germs if there is 100% water?
I did contact the manufacturer, Hosatech, and they said, "The combination of alcohol and BZK (Benzalkonium Chloride) eliminates germs on contact. It's a microphone sanitizer so it needs to be diluted in order to minimize any possible harm to electronics."

Can this be used to clean sticky residue from tapes on the lavs?
The Goby Labs Sanitizer Spray for Microphones would not be recommended to remove adhesive residue from lavaliers or other audio cables, as it is designed primarily for sanitization. Products such as "Goo Gone", which are typically found in hardware stores, can serve the purpose of adhesive removal well.
