How loud is this at idle? In my experience, some line-interactive UPS are noisiest when the AC input is ON, but quiet when running off of battery.
I measured 40 dB with my phone. It is located under my desk and I have to listen carefully to hear it. It does not interfere at all with Zoom or conference calls. I have a lot of electronics in the room and listening for fans as I leave is the only time I hear it. It sounds like the call fans in some of my equipment. Power supplies and optical instruments are considerably louder. The fan does run all the time, and the grill accumulators dust.

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our SmartUPS would emit some noise like if the unit is on battery or the load is high because this will cause the internal fan to kick in. The unit will also beep if there is alarm on the unit but this can be muted.
