The Wooden Camera Top Handle V2 mounts on top of your camera or on a cheese plate via three 1/4"-20 screws. This universal handle features 2" side-to-side and front-to-back screw channels for versatile positioning options.
In addition to providing an ergonomic grip for hand-holding your camera, the Top Handle V2 offers multiple options for mounting accessories. Mounts include 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI anti-twist threads, two cold shoe mounts, and a single 15mm rod clamp.

It does the job but way too expensive.

I got this for my FX9 and it works great! Could have done without the swivel feature but as long as I keep the swivel knob tight it's fine. Other than that it's perfect
I have two of these because they are that good. Out of all the top handles released for the Komodo, I keep coming back to this because it's A) Practical B)Solid and C) provides built in top rod mounts so I can mount a motor for Low profile configurations. I've used pretty much all of the available Komodo top handles and this is the only top handle I see handle a tough work environment.
It’s a great handle, however I’ve found that if you don’t crank the tightening lever REALLY HARD, the handle can rotate when you don’t want it to.
Feels great in your hand. Highest quality finish that doesn’t scratch. Very solid and has many mounting options for accessories. I love the fact that it screws in very tight and even comes with a wrench to tighten it more. My first product from Wooden Camera and I will definitely be buying more items from this great company.
Purchased this in the full top handle kit for the Komodo. I tried many set ups and hands down this far exceeds anything else. It is very low profile. Small footprint and top tier quality. Feels good in hands. Mounts with locating pins for Small HD monitors and keeps full range of motion. A+ all around system.
This is not the best or innovative handle on the market, but one that I enjoy the look and feel of each day I use it. Much of camera work is finding efficiencies and tools that help make the experience more enjoyable, and this little handle makes it just that. I like the attention to detail that makes this work in my FX9 ecosystem, and that to me speaks volumes about the design and cleverness that went into this product.
