Use the Ikelite High Sensitivity Optical Slave Converter to trigger a remote strobe from the flash of your primary strobe. Its high sensitivity makes the converter suitable for use in environments with high ambient light or when the primary strobe is distant from the slave, and its 90° field-of-view window makes it easy to aim the converter at the primary strobe. The converter simply attaches to the remote strobe in place of a sync cord. This converter can also accept select fiber optic cables from a DSLR or mirrorless camera that has a fiber optic converter attached, for shooting at frame rates of 4 fps or faster.

Does this remote trigger work only with Ikelite ...
Does this remote trigger work only with Ikelite strobes? How about Sea and Sea YS-D2?
The Ikelite High Sensitivity Optical Slave Converter is ONLY compatible with Ikelite DS series strobes. This slave trigger plugs into the sync cord port on Ikelite DS strobes.
All current Sea & Sea strobes have a built-in optical slave trigger so there is no need for a optical slave converter
