Think Tank Photo DM 300-600 V3.0 Overview

Protect your camera and lens with the Hydrophobia DM 300-600 V3.0 Rain Cover from Think Tank. This cover has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating and is made from three layers of material for durability. It is also seam-sealed for added protection against rain, sleet, snow, sand, and dust. Fold it down to fit into the included compact carrying pouch and slip it into your camera bag so you're prepared in a downpour or sand storm.

This cover will fit over a DSLR or mirrorless full-frame camera with a 300mm f/2.8-600mm f/4 or similarly-sized lens attached. It has a non-slip, adjustable strap that cinches to the lens hood so it stays put once in place. It can be used while shooting atop a tripod or monopod and has an oversized window for viewing your LCD and controls. Additionally, two cinchable sleeves provide easy access to your camera functions.

An eyepiece flap folds into a visor or shields the viewfinder from rain or dust when not in use. An eyepiece pocket is built into the bottom of the cover and the separately available eyepiece allows full access to your viewfinder while protecting your camera.

Fits over a DSLR or mirrorless full-frame camera with a 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3, 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4, 600mm f/4, 200-500mm f/5.6, 200-400mm f/4, or similarly-sized lens

Think Tank Photo DM 300-600 V3.0 Reviews

Not Happy

I purchased this rain cover for my Sony a6700 at the recommendation of a B&H representative. After receiving the rain cover I discovered that I needed an additional eyepiece for my Sony a6700. After contacting B&H, I learned that there isn’t an eyepiece made to fit my Sony camera. That little piece of information would have been very useful prior to my purchase of $170.00. Not happy with B&H.

A necessity!

An absolute necessity in the winter, or when rain, or drizzle are in the forecast. It fulfills the need, although it behooves one to have it mounted before the need arises as it is not as simple as throw it over camera, lens, and tripod. I like most of the functionality although I had to add additional stick on Velcro strips to sufficiently keep the black viewfinder cover out of my way when it is not supposed to cover the viewfinder, for the price this should not have been the case, also I believe that at that price point the eyepiece necessary should have been included, and available to choose from a drop down menu, not another purchase as mine was. Other than that it does what is stated, and I expect no less from a Think Tank product intended for the professional.
