The X341 Gaffer's Interview Travel Kit with 1 x Matrix II TW & 2 x P360 Pro Plus was put together by Fiilex for image makers on the road who require flexibility in color temperature, light intensity, and power supplies. The kit includes a Matrix II tunable white LED light with AC adapter and a clamp mount. Two P360 Pro Plus are also included, each with four-way barndoors, an AC adapter, dome diffuser, Fresnel attachment, and a compact, reverse-folding light stand. It all fits in the provided X-Class Rolling Case.
The Fiilex Matrix II Tunable White Bi-Color Cinematic Quad-Source LED Punch Light is an advanced 6.7 x 12.2 x 16.5" light source that uses Quad 75W DiCon Dense Matrix LEDs to render an expansive color temperature range of 2800 to 6500K while maintaining a high CRI rating of 96, an indicator of an accurate color rendition.
Other controls include +/-0.25 magenta/green adjustment as well as 0-100% flicker-free dimming. These settings can be made locally on the fixture or remotely on a console via onboard DMX. The fixture also has a USB port for updating firmware and for powering wireless DMX antennas. The Matrix II has wide 99-degree beam coverage that can be shaped with optional barndoors or a 31-degree Fresnel lens that adds "punch" to the output for selective lighting or long-throw work. One of the benefits of LED use is cool, comfortable running temperature coupled with high output and low power consumption, and while the Matrix II consumes just 340 W, it outputs the equivalent of a 1000W tungsten soft light. The fixture has an Advanced Vapor (fan) Cooling System and a yoke with a combination 1 1/8" Junior pin and 5/8" Baby receiver. The Matrix II is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on optional 48V batteries when mains current is unavailable.
The Dome Diffuser for P360/EX and V70 LED Lights from Fiilex is designed to attach to the magnetic mounts on the front of the P360 or P360EX lights. It is also compatible with the V70 viewing lamp. The dome increases the beam angle and softens the light. Dome diffusers spread the beam angle, diffuse, and soften the light's output. It can be combined with other light modifiers such as softboxes and beauty dishes.
The 2" Fresnel Lens from Fiilex is designed to attach to the to the front of the P360 and P360EX fixtures and the V70 Viewing Light. It allows you to focus the beam of light to approximately 29° while intensifying the light by roughly three times.
