I'm interested in buying the zed 6 to add more preamps to my soundcard. Can I send the xlr outputs of the zed-6 to line inputs of my soundcard? Will I have a loss in quality?
Yes that would certainly work. Make sure your interface inputs are set to Line level, rather than Mic level. If there is an attenuation pad, that should be enabled.
Try to minimize the gain on the interface and instead make gain adjustments/boosts on the ZED to minimize noise in your signal chain.

No it does not. The Zedi8 and Zed10 would be the smallest Allen and Heath mixers that have usb. The Zedi8 can send individual channels or the summed signal over usb and the Zed10 will send the summed signal over usb
