Key Features
  • Load Capacity: 11 lb
  • Maximum Height: 15.5"
  • Minimum Height: 4.2"
  • Folded Length: 10.4"
The CTT-1000 Carbon Fiber Tabletop Tripod from Oben is a three-section support with carbon fiber-constructed legs, which have twist leg locks that turn and enable you to extend the legs to a maximum height of 15.5". Even with the legs fully extended, you can remove the ball head and screw on the included three-section extender that adds 12" in height. This extender places a camera at a higher shooting angle for recording an interview or shooting a portrait. To supplement more stability to the 0.98 lb tripod, the legs splay further out to a minimum height of 4.2". Removing the extender, collapsing the legs, and placing the head back onto the legs gives the tripod a folded length of 10.4". Each leg has a rubber foot, which prevents the tripod from sliding on smooth surfaces and the rubber feet are removable, which reveal spikes to stabilize the support on soft terrain.

The dual-action ball head is Arca-type compatible. You can unlock the movement and position your camera at a 90° angle with the cut notch located on the side of the head. The head also rotates 360°, which allows a camera weighing up to 11 lb, to follow a subject freely with ease when the pan lock is unlocked. Additionally, the ball head includes a quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mount.

Perfect little device!

For a small selfie stick, off-camera flash, GoPro stand for action shot set-up, even medium-heavy set-ups from mirrorless or DSLR...this little guy can do it. Light but still heavy enough with the metal framing. Extension piece is a great little selfie stick itself. Ball head is small and adequate, even for mid-sized mirrorless/lens combos.

Depending on what you want, its a great buy

Its small, light, and affordable. If that's what your looking for this fits the bill, and I would recommend. Its a little clunky to use, the head is just . . . ok . . . its nothing to write home about. But for the price, I doubt you'll find something as light and portable as this one. Once set up its pretty rigid, but if you have a large camera I wouldn't recommend using at its max height with the extension and legs fully extended. Its still pretty rigid, but its footprint is small and likely to topple. with the legs spread a little farther, and the extension not all the way out it holds my Z7 and 70-200 with little trouble, its new, over time it might not have such a tight grip on the head, but time will tell. I use it to keep in a my bag on the off chance I want to take a long exposure while out on the trail, and for that its perfect, I don't use it often so i don't mind having to sit on the ground or squat to set it up, I like not losing the space, or adding too much weight. If you're using it indoor on a table top, it's probably ok for that too, but I'm sure you can get something similar for cheaper or sturdier for the same price, but it will be heavier and not as portable. So depending on use its a great buy, or will leave you wanting.

Well worth having.

Easy to work with, compact and a must have. Would highly recommend this tripod, for those that are looking for something like this.

Never thought I'd find a desktop tripod this good. Very solid, and the 11lb capacity is more than enough. I use it to support my R5 C in its cage so I can angle it the way I want to attach accessories to the cage. The panning capability is also helpful when setting up your rig.

This is super sturdy and held my R5 with the 100mm macro lens perfectly.

I'm surprised by how much I love this tripod. It's sleek, sturdy, compact, lightweight, operates smooth (with some minor quirks), and it's an overall a solid product. The legs also fit in the belt loop on my camera bag (Domke F-5XB) with only the ball head sticking out, which makes me want to take it everywhere as a just in case accessory. If you're looking for a tabletop tripod, put this on your short list.

Holds my D500 or D850 with various length lenses without any problems. Intend to use it when traveling when I can't pack my larger tripod.

Has anyone carried this on an airplane flight? It seems like the perfect travel tripod but I worry about the spikes with TSA.

I won't think it would be a problem, but if you had to, you could check it at the gate. Make sure you have it in a nice padded bag.

In all the videos I've seen, each sub-segment of the legs is either fully extended or fully retracted. I anticipate doing a lot of macro work on uneven surfaces; can the leg segments be locked at intermediate lengths, or is each all-or-none? Thanks.
