It does not. This is a quick release assembly that accepts the plate from the Ronin 2, allowing you to go from tripod to Ronin 2. It does not work with the Ronin-S.

Will this accept a Sachtler or manfrotto tripod baseplate? The adaptor that comes with the Ronin 2 does not and this looks like the same thing.

No, This only works with the older DJI Ronin 2 plate and it was not Manfrotto compatible.

The DJI Ronin 2 Universal Tripod Adapter could be used to mount onto the Ronin MX's quick release plate as an adapter so that a camera could be easily transferred from the the Ronin 2 to the Ronin MX.

This is only designed to be used with the Ronin 2. The Ronin 2 is different than the DJI RS2/RSC2.
