Designed for electric bass players, the VOX VX50BA is a 50W combo amplifier. It sports a single channel with gain and volume controls, as well as a drive and compression circuit which can be combined for interesting tones. The amp offers a four-band EQ with bass, low-mid, high-mid, and treble knobs.
The VX50BA makes use of VOX's Nutube technology, which gives you the warm tone of tubes at the relatively lightweight of just over 9 lb. The 8" speaker is housed in a chassis that utilizes a proprietary bass reflex structure to preserve rich and hefty low end.
A 1/4" instrument input is provided, though you'll also find a 3.5mm auxiliary input for media players such as phones, tablets, and more. A 1/4" line output lets you route sound directly to PA systems or recording devices. For silent practice, plug your headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack. An AC adapter is included.
