Lenovo Flex 14 Overview

The 14" Flex 14 Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Notebook from Lenovo is a well-rounded system designed for everyday uses such as browsing the internet, streaming movies and TV shows, creating and editing documents, and video chatting with friends. Thanks to its 2-in-1 design and 360° hinges, you can easily flip it from laptop mode to tablet or tent mode to fit your current application. Powered by a 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen 7 2700U quad-core processor and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, it can efficiently multitask and quickly access frequently used files and programs.

Its 14" IPS display, driven by integrated Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics, features a 1920 x 1080 resolution and offers vivid colors with wide viewing angles. It also supports 10-point capacitive touch input, so you can utilize touch gestures and commands. For storage, it's equipped with a 256GB PCIe solid-state drive. Should you need more room, you can connect external storage solutions using its multiple USB ports. Other integrated features include a 4-in-1 card reader, an HDMI port, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, a 720p webcam, dual-array microphones, two 2W Harman speakers that are certified Dolby Audio Premium, a fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm mic and headphone combo jack. Its 4-cell / 45Wh lithium-polymer battery will last for up to 10 hours before recharging is required, which is done using an included 65W power supply. Also included is Lenovo's Active Pen and the operating system installed is Windows 10 Home.

General Features
Get Used to People Staring
Featuring polished aluminum surfaces and a 360° hinge that transitions from tablet to laptop mode and back, the Lenovo Flex 14 is stylish and adaptable. The Flex 14 also has an ultra-thin bezel on three sides of its display. This bezel creates a theater-like viewing experience when streaming video or movies.
Also Uses Lenovo's Active Pen & Windows Ink
The optional Lenovo Active Pen features pinpoint accuracy and palm-rejection technology, providing the natural feel of a pen-on-paper writing experience. Use it with Windows Ink, found on the Flex 14 taskbar, to turn thoughts into action. Draw on a map and get turn-by-turn instructions, employ some smart editing, get creative with extra detail, and more.
Power & Performance
The Flex 14 is packed with speed and power to boost your productivity and creativity. Its hardware combination provides great touchscreen and pen responsiveness, fast bootups, and seamless multitasking. Get your work done, then take a break, watch a movie, play a game, and relax.
Work Inside or Out
Measuring 3.68 pounds and 0.69" thin, the Flex 14 is portable enough to take just about anywhere, with up to 10 hours of battery life. If you do need a little extra juice, 15 minutes of charging will give two additional hours of use when your battery is dwindling.
Connectivity Without Adapters
With a full array of ports-including USB 3.0 Type-C, two USB 3.0 Type-A, and HDMI ports, the Flex 14 lets you directly connect to a wide of external devices including monitors, keyboards, mice, external storage, and printers, all without the need for extra dongles and adapters.
Find Your Happy Place
With up to Wi-Fi 5 (2x2 802.11ac), you'll stay connected to the internet even further away from the router. You'll enjoy faster downloads and streaming movies with reduced choppiness or buffering.
Windows 10
Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
