Purchased this to cover my daughter's camera she will be taking on a trip to Turkey this summer. Love that it covers you internationally. Hope we don't need it, but glad to have the coverage if we do.

How do you activate this plan with SquareTrade after purchasing? Or do you just use your receipt to file a claim when you have a product problem?
Upon purchasing this plan for an item purchased at B&H, your activation will already be on file with Squaretrade in the event that you need service.

With this warranty, are the repairs done by manufacturer-approved authorized service providers?
Yes the repairs would be done with manufacturer-approved authorized service providers. Also, you can take it to a local repair shop to have it serviced as well, all you have to do is contact Allstate prior to taking it to the shop, ensure that they will cover the repair, then send them the invoice for the service and they will reimburse you for the cost. But again, be sure to contact Allstate before taking it to a local repair shop.
