Let’s compare the EF Canon 24-105mm II f4L with EF to R adapter, to the the Canon RF 24-104mm: which lens is optically superior, i have the EOS R and an EF adapter, and was wondering which lens is truly better, optically, fast focus, JimW
Asked by: Jim
If you like using polarizers, the convenience of the Canon Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF-EOS R with Circular Polarizer Filter might be enough to sway you towards the older lens.

How does it compared to Rf 24-70 f2.8 L in terms of image quality, sharpness, and details of images
Asked by: Philip
As I do not own or have any experience with the RF 24-70 F2.8 lens, I can only speak to the merits of the one I do own, the 24-105 f4 L. As stated by others, I find the F4 L to be very sharp and crisp, with good contrast, and it delivers amazing image quality. I believe you would not regret buying it, realizing that a significant price difference between it and the 24-70 f2.8 does not necessarily translate into higher quality.
