This Canon adapter works perfectly and is well made. I'm keeping a few big white EF lenses and using the adapter rather than having to replace these expensive long lenses.

Bought this when I upgraded form a Canon 80D to the R5. Works just fine with my Canon and my Sigma Lenses. I use a Canon 18-135, a Sigm 18-35 Art, and a Sigma 100-400 Contemporary. All work just as they did on the 80D.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT! On multiple lenses from 16-35mm ef to my 400mm f2.8. I bought 2 since I have a lot of L series Ef lenses! Image quality up to 24-36 enlargement does not seem affected.

This adapter is meant to be used with Canon "EF" and "EF-S" mount lenses, including third party lenses (Sigma, Tamron etc.). FYI - "E" mount is associated with Sony's mirrorless l cameras.

Yes, I use it on an EOS and it works great. Canon also makes additional adapters for EF lease on the EOS R cameras, one that adds a control dial and one that allows for drop-in filters.

Yes, a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 Lens with a Canon EF mount can be adapted with the Canon EF-EOSR R adapter to the EOS R7. You can also use this with EF-S lenses.
