any L-Series battery plate recommendations?

any L-Series battery plate recommendations?
Asked by: Chukwuka
I went with SmallRig DV Battery Plate Adapter for BMPCC / BMCC 2.5K / BMPC 4K. Lightweight. OK. The threaded hole is off to one corner, so I found it a bit difficult to find a good location on my half rig. It has a strap, so combined with a good location on a rig, you should be fine with this. I had hoped the L battery would also power a monitor, but my initial experiment with this ha not been successful. Currently I am thinking I could use native batteries in camera and monitor, and charge whichever battery is running the lowest, with the «L».

Can I use one of these cables to connect power from a smallhd focus to the bmpcc 4k?
Asked by: Nathan
Not that we are aware of. You will need one of SmallHD's specific adapters for their monitors. The SmallHD FOCUS to Canon LP-E6 Power Adapter, B&H # SMPADCBTLPE6, is the proper option for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. https://bhpho.to/2XlrSB3

My vlock plate has both a 14.5 v and a 50v dtap option. For the bmpcc4k. Which should I connect to?
Asked by: ry
I would hope it's a 5.0V option and not a 50V. 50V would definitely fry your camera. 5.0V would not be sufficient. The BMPCC4K can use up to 20V though the AC adopter port. I would use the Dtap to DC Adapter cable to attache the camera to the V-lock battery.
