This extremely complicated piece of engineering marvel needs a 100-page instruction manual. The thread angle alone deserves a shout-out! There is a North-South orientation that needs to be observed, but if one aligns the dots, one can't miss!

I ordered the Canon EW-83N Lens Hood and it arrived to my house much quicker than I expected. When I opened the box I noticed the lens hood was of flawless quality. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs this product to purchase it from B&H.

I do that with all of my Canon lens hoods. It works for all of the 9 or 10 EF and ER lenses I’ve purchased (and it must include this one or I wouldn’t have received this e-mail).

No, the Canon EW-83N Lens Hood will not work with the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens. That lens uses the Canon EW-73D Lens Hood, BH #CAEW73D (https://bhpho.to/38GYHnb).
