Modular Hood for "P" Series Filter Holder (#P255) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good versatile choice for Cokin users. I've used several of the Cokin hoods for many years. They work well. They can be attached or removed very quickly from the filter holder. You can use one P-series hood with lenses as wide as 20mm (35mm film format) if the hood is mounted on the pins that are closest to the lens. Be careful with a 20mm lens: you need to keep the hood oriented so that its bottom edge is parallel to the bottom of the camera to avoid vignetting. There is a material limitation in cold weather: the air temperature can fall below the plastic's brittle fracture point, so you may want to avoid flexing the hood to attach or remove it in cold conditions (instead, do it indoors).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not necessary The modular filter system is a great idea, the modular hood is a waste. The hood is less that 3/4 of an inch thick and doesn't cover the filter itself, it is in front of the filter about 1/4 of an inch. I hold my hat to cover the camera from the sun and that does the job. Save your money for another filter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Little Flimsy The attachment points are a little flimsy, but if you want a compact on-camera option, it works well enough, and you can stack them if you need more depth for your purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleaver and useful but way overpriced. This is a stackable hood system. It is smartly thought out, easy to use and functional, but it's way overpriced. That being said I bought 5 of them, because in the end, they work.
