The American DJ 7P HEX IP is a heavy-duty RGBAW+UV (red, green, blue, amber, white + ultraviolet) LED PAR fixture designed to produce a wide variety of bright color washes with smooth color mixing for use in a variety of applications including touring, event production, and hire situations where equipment is continually transported, rigged, and derigged. The fixture is rated IP65, allowing the unit to be safe from rain, snow, and dust.

Equipped with seven 12W (6-in-1) HEX LEDs that have a beam angle of 30°, it can be used to create wide washes of amber-infused white light at varying color temperatures, vibrant colors such as hot pinks, lime greens, and electric blues, or the classic UV glow for venue uplighting and heat-free illumination to stage performers. Featuring all-metal construction, the heavy-duty enclosure offers side-accessible power and DMX in/out sockets, allowing the 7P HEX IP to sit directly on the ground or inside a truss without the scissor yoke, ideal for architectural wall washing.

Easy to operate and packed with creative options, the 7P HEX IP offers five modes of operation including Static Color, Sound-Active, RGBAW + UV Dimmer, Program, and DMX. Effects include color strobing and 0-100% electronic dimming. For full remote control of all features, the unit supports Remote Device Management (RDM) and can also be operated using the DMX mode with a choice of six channel options including 6, 6+, 9, 9+, and 12 channels. Other features include flicker-free operation (for video applications) and an auto-sensing power supply. You can also daisy-chain power for up to 16 units at 120V or 34 units at 240V. The fixture ships with a IP-rated power cord and a scissor yoke that can be used to create a variable-angle floor stand or for conventional mounting.
