Promising but falls short

My primary use for this is to be able to mount a monitor to a Free Fly 30mm tube for the Movi. I use the Edelkrone Monitor mount for my monitor as it allows me to adjust the Monitor position. The cold shoe was too tight for my monitor holder and for several of my other cold shoe ball heads I had on hand. The 1/4 screw works but it can't be tightened enough to stop whatever is mounted from slipping. I had to use a rubber washer. The little knob to tighten rubs against the curved part of the clamp. It should have been out a little further so as to clear the clamp. It does let you pull it out to adjust it but this is cumbersome. The mount slips once installed. I had to find some sort of rubber like material that was thin enough to fit between the clamp and the Movi Ring. It left marks on my Movi Ring in my initial attempts to get it not to slip.

70mph on a roof rack with a FUJI GFX 100S, using SHAPE clamp

We road tested a FUJI GFX 100S with a Mitakon 65mm manual lens, using a SHAPE Clamp 30mm to hold the camera to the roof rack. We hit speeds of 70mph+ over a period of 2 hrs. The camera didn't budge the whole time. We did use two lanyards to the eyelets as backup securement. Pretty cool performance! note: Camera was tethered via USB to a laptop running Capture One Pro. A tethered intervalometer triggered the camera.
