Dedicated to the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens, the ALC-SH155 Lens Hood helps to minimize flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. It is constructed from lightweight, rigid carbon fiber and the flocked interior of the hood greatly reduces surface reflections on the front element of the lens. The hood also provides additional protection to the lens from accidental impacts, bumps, or scratching. It is offered here as a spare or replacement for the one originally included with the lens.
