The Savi 8220 Wireless DECT Headset System from Plantronics features an over-the-head design that offers a wireless range up to 580', so you can easily manage desk phone, computer, and mobile phone calls from across the room. Aside from three-way connectivity, this headset system allows you to switch seamlessly between them all. You can conference two of your three devices to collaborate with colleagues or connect up to four Savi 8220 Series headsets for training or call resolution.

The Savi 8220 headset is designed to deliver enterprise-grade DECT audio for a premium listening experience with noise-cancelling, hi-fi stereo sound support. Its built-in active noise cancelling microphone blocks out background noise, so you can have your calls with minimized distraction. For sensitive environments, you can turn up noise cancellation with the Savi 8220's close conversation limiting feature, which is configurable via the Plantronics Hub for privacy. Moreover, the microphone's boom is designed for flexibility, so you can adjust it to your preferred distance while speaking. Other helpful features include a battery life that can last up to 13 hours, audio transfer capabilities, and a one-touch button to answer and end calls, manage volume settings, mute, and flash.

Furthermore, this headset system is DECT Security certified, which utilizes the latest standards in DECT wireless security. It also comes with a charging cradle base that lets you place the Savi 8220 headset in a standing position for storage and powering.

The Plantronics Savi 8220 Wireless DECT Headset System features wireless multi-device connectivity that allows you to transfer audio between headset and mobile phone.
This headset has a noise-canceling microphone with a Close Conversation Limiting mode, which is designed to block background noise.
The Savi 8220 Wireless DECT Headset System has built-in one-touch controls that answer and end calls, manage volume, and turn the mute on or off.
An adaptive power system allows you to downshift to a low power mode when the headset is close to the Savi 8220 base to save battery life. This feature contributes up to 13 hours of talk time before needing a recharge.
The headset's microphone boom is designed to be flexible so it can be positioned at an ideal distance from your mouth for optimized voice quality.
The Savi 8220 Wireless DECT Headset System has integrated voice alerts that notify you when you've muted the headset or have stepped out of range.

    Plantronics Savi 8220 Reviews

Savi 8220 Wireless DECT Headset System is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving these over the other brand we had. GET EM. These really help out our customer service. Previously we had another brand (with dual ear pieces too).. These sound better, are much more comfortable, cut some of the noise from the office unlike the other ones we had. When I say sound better the customer service people hear the person on the other line nice and clear.. Much better then the older ones we had from the other company that sells similar devices. One thing a LOT of our people that use these love is the Bluetooth connectivity to their phones (android and iPhone) as it works great.. they have some clients that always call their cells.. and some that call the desk-phone. so now they get the really good noise cancelling (both to them and the client) with these headsets. We I think now have like 7 in a small office and they are great. They are more expensive then the other brand we used to get for new people but well worth the extra cost.. just keep in mind you will have to get adapters for your phones (I got them on another site as they were quite a bit more on this site but the headsets were great priced here).. Had to order a few for some older cisco phones.. the newer ones I didnt need to get the adapters for. the Cisco phones have a 2.5mm headphone like jack on them so got the adapter they make and was in business. (you can use them without the adapter but you then have to lift the handset off the phone for every call with the older Cisco phones we have for some of the customer reps and such that use them. with the newer phones (not Cisco) they have the dedicated normal headset out on the back and the cable these come with work with it great so you dont have to plug in the handset into that. Also got some savi online indicators (didnt have any before getting these devices) they are great as well and very nice to cut the is that person on the phone.. can I bother you OH sorry you are on the phone stuff. (just get some normal audio cable extensions (3.5mm male to female cords if you need more then a few feet that I ended up needing) IN short GET these headsets.. ONLY con I can think of is the sound for the customer end is a little (very very little) not as nice sounding as the person speaks it does have a slight mechanical sound.. BUT its so little its not a deal breaker. the other ones we had had a wider range of sound but they also picked up a LOT more background and that was way worse even though they were the top rated devices at the time. Maybe a second con.. If you stop talking (had this happen when I was on my cell talking to someone in the office with these) the mic is so good at noise cancelling its so quiet when they are not speaking I have had to check that I was still on with them and I didnt get disconnected.. the old ones and EVERY other headset we have tried always had extra noise so you could hear them typing on their keyboards, people stomping around the office and so on.. These on the other hand are like I said so quiet and good at noise cancelling that its like dead air when no one is speaking directly into the mic is spooky at times. OH and one of our team members that I recently moved to one of these has commented he has to remember to speak quieter now.. the noise canceling on his end is so good for him that he cant hear himself talk like he could with the old ones we had.. so he accidentally starts talking a LOT LOUDER and he has to remind himself to speak in a normal tone. (he is very new to them only a few days) so he is getting used to them with how good they are.. Pre getting these headsets some when they were not on the phone calling or being called would put on noise cancelling headsets (like bose ones) to just get some quiet time to do some tasks.. now they just leave these on.. sometimes they listen to music with them too and they are a lot better sounding then the old ones as well with music and easier for them to do it with. (though the on a call light is on if they listen to music or anything else with them).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bluetooth not working properly I have been using Plantronics since Savi 720 since 5 years ago. I had a pretty good experience with the w720. So as soon as Savi 8220 was released I immediately went ahead to upgrade my headset. I use the headset in combination of my Polycom deskphone, my iMac desktop, and my iPhone via bluetooth. But after two months of usage, the bluetooth feature is not working properly. It would appear as if my iPhone is connect to the base via bluetooth, but every single time I make a call the bluetooth connection would disconnect and disconnects the call as well. This is the same for incoming calls, every time I get a call coming into my iPhone and if I try to pick it up on my headset the call would get disconnected immediately. I followed the Customer Supports instruction to try connecting with a different phone, but the same problem still persist. After numerous troubleshooting with customer support they are now only willing to ask me to return the unit but I would have to pay the shipping cost on my own, on top of that they also said they will only be able to send me an open-box unit, not even a brand new unit. Honestly Im pretty dissatisfied because I received my unit in December and it is now only April, but I would have to spend even more money only to receive a unit that is not even brand new. Very unacceptable for someone that is trying to be loyal to the brand.

Excellent and you can adjust the mic to be louder if needed too. the ONLY problem (not really a problem though).. SOME people expect to hear a lot of noise from the environment and with these (and the mic set correctly) they ONLY hear you talking and not all the extra noise from the office. So sometimes you get are you still there.. as its so dead quiet.
