Using chip-on-board (COB) LEDs for a high color rendering index (CRI) plus an array of standard red-light diodes, the Acebeam X80-CRI LED Flashlight can be of value in photography as well as traditional high-output flashlight uses such as law enforcement, search and rescue, outdoor recreation, and emergency preparedness. The COB emitter delivers six white light brightness levels with a maximum output of 4500 lumens and a CRI of 95, while the red LEDs shine at 2500 lumens on high power and 1000 lumens on low. The light comes with four 18650 batteries. A side-mounted push button turns the light on and off and cycles through the brightness levels.
The Type III anodized-aluminum housing is designed to withstand accidental immersion as deep as 98', though it is not a dive light and should not be turned on or off underwater. It is impact resistant to 3.9'. A smooth reflector and a tempered glass lens with anti-reflective coating produce a 98.3% transmittance rate. A crenelated bezel protects the lens. The light is fitted with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount and has a battery power indicator.
