Is the clamp wide enough to attach to a Zhiyun Crane 2 body?
As the base of the Zhiyun Crane 2 is wider than this clamp can support (up to 1.4"), this would not be recommended. An accessory that would mount to the base of the Crane 2 is a Zhiyun-Tech Extension Mounting Ring for Crane-2 (SKU: ZHGMBC531). This could be then attached to a v-lock assembly such as the Smallrig 1846 V-Lock Assembly (SKU: SM1846B).

Is it possible to separate the clamp from the V-Mount release? How is the V-Mount release connected to the clamp?
This has screws holding the V-mount in place. We do not recommend removing them though.
