Designed for studio use, the 31.1" Multi-Interface DCI 4K HDR Monitor from JVC offers a 31.1" LCD panel with DCI 4K resolution. It sports one 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI and three 3G/HD/SD-SDI interfaces as well as an SFP slot for connecting an additional 4K display via an optional plug-in SFP adapter. On the output end, there are 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI and HDMI ports.
Equipped with built-in 3D-LUT calibration software, the monitor can be directly connected to a separately available color sensor probe via USB for automatic calibration. Also featured are LAN connectivity and GPI and RS-485 terminals.
Multiple 4K Interfaces
The DT-U31PRO monitor is equipped with 1 x 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI input, 3 x 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs, and 1 x 4K60p HDMI 2.0 input. Using an optional plug-in SFP adapter, the monitor supports an additional 4K SFP display and conversion to 12G-SDI output.
HLG and PQ Capability
Featuring HLG HDR, ST.2084 PQ, and S-log3 HDR support, the monitor is designed to deliver true-to-live images.
Low-Latency Mode
The monitor supports low-latency mode (less than half frame) when displaying 4K input sources. This mode is the special image processing mode for lip-sync monitoring.
Webserver IP Remote Control
Thanks to the monitor's LAN connectivity, you can read and adjust monitor settings remotely via your computer's web browser.
3D-LUT Auto Color Calibration
The DT-U31PRO monitor offers 3D-LUT 17x17x17 precise auto calibration via the built-in color generator and calibration software. It supports X-rite i1 Display (special version) and JETI Specbos 1211, enabling you to directly connect a color sensor probe the monitor's USB port for easy auto calibration. The calibration process time is as short as 15 minutes with X-rite or 45 minutes with Specbos.
Built-In De-Log LUTs
The monitor uses built-in de-log LUTs including JVC J-log1, ARRI log-C, Sony S-log2, S-log3, Canon C-log, Panasonic V-log, and RedLogFilm to convert to ITU-Rec.709 directly.
3D-LUT Upload
For further color correction versatility during post production monitoring, additional 3D-LUT cube files can be uploaded via USB.
Waveform, Vector & Histogram
The monitor supports waveform selection display (Y, Cb, Cr, R, G, B), and single lines selection mode. It also supports vectorscope and R/G/B/Y histogram display, with multiple position, size, and color selections.
16-Channel Audio Meters with Alert and Output Selection
The monitor gives you the ability to de-embed audio from SDI and HDMI. It displays 16-channel audio level meters with abnormal audio alert info displayed on each audio bar. Additionally, you can select any two channels of audio to output via the 3.5mm output or built-in speakers. The audio meter pattern position can be selected from one of the screen's four corners—you can select to display only 2 channels, 8 channels, or the full 16 channels. Scale markers, alert info, and translucence of the audio meter graphics can be selected.
