    Too Many Misses

I like the simplicity and the size, but with my Sony a7 III, it probably fired 60-70% of the time. In fact, there were times I just couldn't get it to work, and I had to restart the camera and the flashes and then re-sync the flashes. When it works, it's great. It's simple, it's small. I love the internal battery, but 35-40% of my shots it didn't work on. Maybe it's the Sony thing, not sure. I wanted to love it, but it's pretty average. And the recycle time can be pretty long. I think it goes through batteries a lot faster than it's stated to. For the price, though, I guess I can't complain.

Does what it's supposed to do

This LightPix Flash Q Trigger is nice and small. It's great for off camera flash as long as you don't need TTL. I normally use full manual mode anyway. It also works for my smaller film cameras with hotshoe mounts when I need a quick fill flash. Set up and syncing is relatively easy. Don't forgot to set your DSLR hot shoe sync ON! This setting threw me off a little but I eventually figured it out.

Will this trigger work (in manual mode) between a Bronica GS-1 and 1 or 2 Canon 430 ex II?
    Asked by: Archie
As the Zenza Bronica GS-1 was discontinued multiple years before the LightPix Labs FlashQ Trigger T2 Kit F+ (Black) was released, the LightPix Labs FlashQ Trigger T2 has not been directly tested with the Bronica GS-1. That being said, as the GS-1 has a built-in standard female PC sync connector, and as the LightPix Labs FlashQ Trigger T2 Kit F+ (Black) comes with a male PC sync cable, and the only the center pin is required to trigger the Canon 430EX II Speedlite Flashes for manual triggering, the items should all work together.

Regardless of the TTL, will this trigger any flash using any camera? In other words, if I'm using a flash on full manual, does it matter the camera or flash brand?
    Asked by: Alexander
Hi Alexander, Here are few caveats from LightPix Labs, the manufacturer: "FlashQ Trigger (model T2) works on Sony cameras / flashes with latest Multi Interface Shoe (MIS), and other cameras / flashes from Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Lumix, Metz, Nissin, etc. FlashQ Trigger (model T2 / T1-S / T1) is not compatible with the older Sony/Minolta-style Auto-lock Accessory Shoe. FlashQ receiver is not recommended for the old high-voltage flashes and those flashes which not self-powered by battery."
