Good price and excellent quality. The screen is sharp and with adequate brightness

Warning. No 12v Power Adapter included.

This is my second unit. No 120v-12v power adapter included. I'll have to order one separately. That knocked it down to 3 stars. First unit I ordered 2 years ago included the power adapter.

Is this bright enough to operate outside without a sunshade, since it doesn't appear to come with one?
Asked by: Dan
Absolutely, yes -- use in direct sunlight is one of the main reasons to purchase this particular monitor. I've used my FY279 almost exclusively outdoors in daylight for 2+ years without need for a sunshade.

I will be using this monitor an my Nikon D850 and D810 for still photography. My eyes are not as good as they used to be so hopefully a monitor will help me manual focus precisely. Will the screen on the monitor match exactly what I see on the camera?
Asked by: Hart
This will be a great tool to help you focus. The colors may not be an exact match, but it is still a great option for better focus.

Does this support 10bit depth?
Asked by: Jeremy
Hi Jeremy, I use it with the Blackmagic 6K in the field, I believe the 6K is a 10bit raw signal and it works fine. Perhaps you don't get to see a true 10 bit signal.

Is it the best FeelWorld 7” monitor or you can recommend other one (only hdmi ver.) ?
Asked by: Evgeniy
I have used 2 others. I got this specific one because i work outdoors a lot and hate sunshades. If you don't want touchscreen, this is the best option. They also sell it in aluminum body instead of plastic, but a bit heavier.

Does it have HDMI to SDI conversion?
Asked by: Adam
This monitor does not offer HDMI to SDI Cross Conversion. The Lilliput Q5 5.5" Full HD On-Camera Monitor, B&H # LIQ5FHDMNTR, is our starting option for an On-Camera monitor with SDI/HDMI Cross Conversion. https://bhpho.to/2qtn7q6

what is its battery life with a sony npf970?

what is its battery life with a sony npf970?
Asked by: Byron
I run the monitor at around 50% most of the time, even outdoors. 2 batteries get me thru a full day's shoot. 10-12 hours. I sometimes use it as an on camera light at max power (white screen not running video) and it will last just under 3 hours. These times are assuming you turn off the monitor between scenes, when not recording or playback review. But I'm also not the type to leave cameras on. Responsible use, real world usage, i feel gives better info than just "it will last 2 hours on max" because i haven't worked with anyone that leaves gear running while not in use, and for long stationary shoots like interviews, i run AC power for it. Most shoots I'm running focus peaking on it and audio monitor so i don't use those features on the camera, saving processing power & battery on the camera. I don't typically use hdmi passthrough and my camera outputs 1080p uncompressed 4:2:2 8 bit (with info) when recording and 10 bit clean hdmi out when i review footage.
