Outfitted with two outputs and a focusable beam angle, the COAST HP550 Pure Beam Focusing LED Flashlight is built to be your go-to light for any illumination you need at home, around the shop, on patrol, or in the field. On high output the single white LED produces a darkness-piercing 1075 lumens of bright light, and its low 53-lumen setting is ideal for tasks such as reading or working up close. Powering the light are nine readily available AA batteries.
With a simple one-handed push or pull of the head, the versatile Pure Beam system allows you to switch from the wide Ultra View Flood Beam, which lights large areas close to you with a smooth and consistent beam from one edge to the other, to a focused spotlight that is optimized for a long throw. In the spot mode, the light has COAST's Bull's-Eye Beam, which has a bright center circle that smoothly transitions to a dimmer "halo" around it—providing maximum illumination precisely where you need it with plenty of spill to keep you aware of your surroundings. When you get the beam set where you need it, just twist the head, lock the beam angle, and get to work.
The aluminum housing is treated with a scratch-resistant black anodized finish that is sealed to a water-resistant IPX4 rating, allowing it to be used in the rain or snow. The HP550 comes complete and ready to use with nine AA batteries in clamshell packaging.
