Made for law enforcement and tactical professionals who require a versatile light that turns on every time they click the switch, the COAST TX14R Long Distance Focusing Rechargeable LED Flashlight is outfitted with dual power source capability plus high and low outputs, a focusable beam angle, and a disorienting strobe. This handy and versatile light is made to be your go-to illumination tool when you're on duty, out patrolling, in the field, or anywhere your job takes you.
The Long Range Focusing system is accessed by sliding the head forward and back with convenient one-handed operation, and it allows you to change the beam from a wide flood that lights large areas close to you into a focused spotlight that is optimized for a long throw. When you get the beam set where you need it, just twist the head, lock the beam angle, and get to work.
The TX14R is capable of running on two battery chemistries, and COAST provides both to get you started. First, you have a lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack—and a spare—that provides the low 165-lumen output and darkness-piercing high 900-lumen output and can be charged in or out of the light using the included USB cable, the 110 VAC wall outlet adapter, or the 12 VDC car/vehicle plug adapter. If you run out of power and still need a light, you can use four AAA batteries—output and runtimes will be lower and shorter, but you still have light. In addition, the lithium-ion packs each have a standard USB 2.0 output port that can be used to put a charge into your phone or other small electronics in a pinch. O-rings seal the housing to make it IPX4-rated weather resistant against rain and snow. Easy to use. Easy to power. Easy to carry. The TX14R is designed and built for everyday carry and everyday use.
