Use your iPad or Android device to take control of your intelligent lighting fixtures with the American DJ myDMX Go Lighting Control System, which is well suited for mobile entertainers, small night clubs, bars, and leisure venues. The powerful, yet simple-to-use software can create stunning synchronized light shows across any combination of fixtures. The distinctive layout of the software app features two FX wheels, one for color chases and one for movement patterns, and contains eight preprogrammed effects. These can be selected independently, customized (by altering the color palette, speed, size, shift, and fan) and combined to create a vast number of different effects, which can then be stored for instant recall to one of 50 user-defined presets. With an extensive 15,000 profiles, the myDMX GO can be used to control all types of DMX lighting form any manufacturer.

The wireless DMX interface is USB powered and includes two 3-pin DMX outputs. Output 1 offers 256 channels of DMX control with an additional 256 channels available for optional purchase. The second DMX output is compatible with the optional upgrade to myDMX 3.0 software and provides an additional universe (up to 512 channels). The American DJ myDMX GO software is available for download and ships with the interface and a USB power cable.

Works as expected, stable and quality build. I could not find any documentation to change WIFI settings, such as IP-range or network password. Using default settings is risky.

Can be great, if working correctly

So far there have been numerous issues. First my older android device had connectivity issues with the mydmx device. I bought a new ipad and we are now waiting on a newer ios version of the dmxgo because of connectivity issues. Have to use light rider app which works, but not consistently. The product can be very useful once it is up and running. So far it has not been plug and play for me.

Cannot tell you how pleased I am with the American DJ myDMX Go. B&H shipped it out quickly, even though it was holiday time. And when it arrived, it was SO easy to set up, easy to configure, and easy to start using. We paired it with an older Amazon Fire 7 tablet and had no trouble downloading the software and connecting the two. As a medium sized church that has transitioned to all led, I think it's safe to say that the myDMX Go will do much more than we need it to. Once again, I am so very impressed with the prompt service I get every time from B&H - and this product truly delivers!

Instructions are lacking big time. Join the Facebook group and read all the posts and you’ll quickly figure out the problems and how to fix them. Even still I had to call American DJ and their customer service department was very prompt and helped me solve my problems. You can tell the app is in its infancy and several years from now many more of the bugs will have been worked out. Do not expect a flawless plug and play experience in anyway. You will have to learn a very specific workflow in order to program your lights using this app. But once you figure it out you can do some amazing stuff. My first use a band asked me to run their light show and I sat in the crowd with this app on my tablet and was able to synchronize the lights to the music for 2 1/2 hours and it was pretty sweet. Afterwards many people gave me hugs and said the lights truly made the show way better. No more random lights moving to the music not synchronized correctly.
